Description
Chef Sam Gowing Method
Private mentoring for established professionals
Your next chapter starts with what you already know.
You’ve spent years building expertise, reputation and experience.
The question now isn’t whether you know enough.
It’s what you’re going to do with it.
The Chef Sam Gowing Method is a private six-week mentoring journey for established professionals who are ready to step back, take stock of what they know and turn decades of experience into a clearer proposition, a stronger body of work and a commercially valuable next chapter.
This is not about starting again. It’s about recognising the value in what you have already built — and knowing how to use it.
Who this is for
This mentoring is for established professionals who have accumulated significant experience and are ready for a change in direction, a new business proposition or a more purposeful next chapter.
You may be an established chef or food professional, a hospitality or wellness professional, an entrepreneur developing a new direction, or an experienced expert considering consulting, mentoring, speaking, education, product development or other intellectual services.
You don’t need another qualification. You need clarity, perspective and a way to turn your experience into something meaningful and commercially viable.
What we’ll work on
Together, we’ll identify the expertise, experience and ideas that form your unique body of knowledge — then explore how they can become the foundation for your next chapter.
Your experience
What have you actually learned through your career, and where does your deepest expertise lie?
Your body of knowledge
What do you know that is valuable, distinctive and worth sharing?
Your point of view
What do you believe? What do you see differently? What do you want to be known for?
Your proposition
How can your experience be expressed as a clear professional proposition?
Your commercial possibilities
How might your knowledge translate into consulting, mentoring, speaking, education, products or other intellectual services?
Your next chapter
What needs to happen now to move from thinking about change to actually creating it?
The six-week journey
Session 1 — Clarity & expertise
Take stock of your experience, expertise, ambitions and the knowledge you’ve accumulated through your career.
Between sessions
Structured thinking and reflection to identify the ideas, strengths and possibilities worth developing.
Session 2 — Positioning & proposition
Define your point of view and shape it into a clear professional proposition.
Between sessions
Develop the foundations of your commercial direction.
Session 3 — Commercial direction & next chapter
Translate your expertise into potential commercial opportunities and create your practical 90-day roadmap.
What you will leave with
- Expertise & Intellectual Property Map
- Defined professional point of view
- Positioning and proposition statement
- Initial commercial offer architecture
- 90-Day Next Chapter Roadmap
- Greater clarity about how your experience can create value beyond your previous role or business
Most importantly, you should have a much clearer answer to:
What am I doing next — and why am I the person to do it?
How it works
Three private 60-minute Zoom sessions across six weeks with email support between sessions.
This is not a generic business coaching programme. The work is shaped around your experience, your expertise and your ambitions.
Places are limited because the value of the programme lies in the depth of the conversation and individual attention.
All mentoring places are by application.
What clients say
“Sam was amazing through my whole self publishing journey. She kept me on track and motivated the whole time with weekly meetings and daily communication and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without her.
Her knowledge about self publishing & health and wellness was extremely helpful and inspirational and I can’t thank you enough Sammy for all of your help and guidance to bring my first book to life.”
